Where did the name “frutiger aero” come from? was it always called that?

it wasn't always called that since back then it was common, and they didn't really think it was aesthetic like people do now, but people used to just call it web 2.0 gloss. the term was coined by some group thing in 2017, but the name comes from adrian frutiger, who created the fonts mostly used with frutiger aero
