Darkthrone : panzerfaust, IMO this is their best album guitar and vocal wise. i liked the ominous speech they did at the end of the album… i know varg wrote one of the songs (quintessence) and imo that song and “hordes of nebulah” are their better songs.
Varg has good vocals but I prefer filosofem vocals over his earlier albums.
Same with mayhem, I loved pelle and Attila but IMO darkthrone solos.
I only put mayhem on the list because A : live in Leipzig guitar tone and vocals
B : freezing moon solo
