DMDS and my thoughts

1. varg bass playing :
Although I have some respect for varg for his solo career with burzum, I believe it’s completely stupid how low his bass is in the mixing.

2. atillas vocals : this man is an amazing vocalist, definitely slept on because people on focus on Pelle and the other guy on deathcrush.

3. Euronymous’s guitar playing/solos : He did a great job with the tone and overall feeling of the album, especially on freezing moon and pagan fears. But I do not respect how much of a coward he was when in reality, he was nothing more but an Anti-Christian LARP who wanted to be feared.

4. This album is a pivotal movement in 2nd wave BM/ BM all together, being released in 1994 although recorded and finished in ‘93 just before euronymous’s murder.
